This website features useful information for those who have been convicted of a felony, or felonies and/or misdemeanors, who are seeking opportunities that are available to them despite being convicted of a criminal offense.  The information included on this website includes, but it not limited to job leads, job fair dates, contact information for agencies who offer assistance to those with criminal backgrounds and so much more. This website was created by a felon, to help other felons, so if you are in need of help, you have come to the right place. My name is Mae Hughes #2C4FCEO, I am the Founder of 2nd Chances 4 Felons. I created this company solely for the purpose of providing FREE help where it is greatly needed, and that is in the lives of those with criminal backgrounds who are seeking, and deserving of 2nd chances.

Here are a few tips on locating information featured on this website.

On the Forum & Discussions page of the website there is a section of tabs, under the word CATEGORIES,  which can be found below the chat room to help making searching easier. For example, job leads can be found in the HIRING section of the tabs, and job fair dates in the Job Fair section. Job fair dates are listed for various areas for the current month of the year, throughout the year.

**(F.Y.I. On each  job lead there will be either the contact information such as a phone number, physical, email or website address, or there will be a link to where you can apply for the position.  If the link to apply is provided please copy & paste the links to your browser.) **

    ****ALL job leads are dated so please pay attention to the dates that are on each of the posts.****

In order to locate job leads in your specific area, please use the key tags at the bottom of the Forums & Discussions page. For example, if you live in Dallas, you may use Dallas or DFW area, as well as, any other areas that are in the Dallas area. There are also key tags for the number of years  it has been since your conviction date, key tags have been included for 1 year up to 20 years. For example, if your conviction is 7 years old (meaning you were convicted in the year 2014) you may use the key tag 7years to search through leads for those who have convictions that are 7 years old. Another example, is if your conviction is 5 years old (meaning you were convicted in 2016),  you may use the key tag 5years to search through leads for those with convictions that are 5 years old. Key tags are included for many different career fields as well, which include, but are not limited to clerical, customer service, general labor, and manufacturing. These key tags have been provided in order to make your searching experience easier, so please utilize them to aid in searching the website.

 The links & resources page also has information listed for various cities & states. There are  listings by state for resources in all 50 states.

Illinois: There is a list of resources for the Chicago area. In order to locate the list please go to the Links & resources page & click Chicago Resources.

 Ohio: There is a list of resources & employers for your state. In order to find the list, please go to the Links & Resources page & click Ohio Resources.

Missouri: There is a list of resources & employers for  the city of St. Louis & other cities in your state. In order to find the lists & information, please go to the Links & Resources page & click Missouri .

There is information for more states, and cities so take time to explore the information for your area, after clicking the link for your state.

The website also includes lists of companies who hire felons for Dallas-Fort Worth & Houston, Texas   (both can be located by clicking Texas on the Links & Resources page) for the DFW list you should click the Texas--Dallas/ Fort Worth--Jobs (that hire felons). For Houston after clicking Texas click the link for Houston List of Felony Friendly employers, and you will be taken to the list. (Links for each provided below) A few new pages have recently been added to the website, one of those lists staffing agencies throughout the USA that accept those with felony and misdemeanor backgrounds,  a NATIONWIDE list of companies that hire those with felony and misdemeanor backgrounds, and a list of felony/misdemeanor friendly apartments in the Dallas, Texas area. All of the list were created by me, and have been used to aid many people with finding 2nd chances.  (Link to pages provided below) New lists have been added to the Links & resources page links list, as well as, the links list that is on the Home page of the website, be sure to check them out as well.

For example , if your misdemeanor is 3 years old meaning it happened in 2017, use the key tag misdemeanors3years (if it is 2 years old use key tag misdemeanors2years and so on)********************
