Pegasus Foods, LLC. opened in 1998 as a family owned frozen food manufacturing company in Los Angeles, CA. Thanks to our ability to combine automation with hand formed products we expanded our facility which is what lead us to transfer our business to Rockwall, TX. Ever since, we have been creating a quality Co-pack and Private Label manufacturer of Frozen Dough, Appetizers, Bakery and Dessert items for both Retail and Foodservice customers. As a general laborer, you can expect to:
Foster a safe and clean work environment following all company implemented safety standards.
Ensure that the work area is clean and sanitized at all times.
Assemble high quality products per the production schedule and SQF requirements.
Perform tasks following safety guidelines and ensuing specific processes and best practices for each task.
Attend trainings as needed and adheres to all department and company policies.
Notifies lead, manager, QA of any mechanical, material or SQF issues.
Perform work procedures using Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to ensure food safety.
Adheres to all safe quality food (SQF) requirements and standards set by Pegasus Foods, LLC. Including the proper handling of all products according to SQF standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Food Manufacturing experience (preferred).
Highly motivated, hardworking individual who enjoys working as a team, possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail and an obsessive commitment to customer safety, service, quality, and consistency.
We have openings in our second shift operations.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have reliable transportation.
Team members prepare different food items in a refrigerated environment at an average temperature of (41Β°F).
Physical Requirements include:
Ability to lift as much as 50 pounds
Ability to stand for an extended period of time
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat, turn, and walk
