Parts Control Agent (will train) ... Counting, Racking, Inspecting, Packing Metal Parts - FT - 1st shift. 4 day work weeks. $15+/hour based on experience.
Avtec Finishing, provides quality metal finishing to our customers, in a timely manner. We are busy and need to find an enthusiastic recruit that takes an interest in managing the parts provided by our customers with a sense of urgency and an eye on quality. This is a critical and hands on position. It's a unique industry with many opportunities. Schools don't teach this trade, so we train and reward hard working employees.
Position Duties: Be responsible for counting, racking, prepare for finishing, inspecting quality, and packing parts to ship back to the customer. Hand dexterity, basic math, as well as measuring parts for first time processing are key components to this position.. Complete paperwork along the way to assure the process is completed correctly and in a timely manner. (Entry Level Position - Will Train)

Requirements:
Minimum qualifications:
Show up EVERY day. (Attendance is CRUCIAL!)
Pass Basic math and finding measurements on a ruler test (IMPORTANT!)*
Can work independently and as a team in a diverse environment.
Willing to take direction, follow procedures, and learn.
Ability to stand, reach, bend, and have hand dexterity for long periods of time.
Follow safety procedures to avoid injuries.
Can fluently speak, understand, read, and write English.
Must pass drug test, background check (no felonies in the past 5 years ), and simple math questionnaire before starting.
While onsite for an interview, you MUST PASS A BASIC MATH TEST within 10 minutes to move on to the interview phase.

1st Shift Hours: 5am-3pm Monday-Thursday... Overtime as scheduled... paid lunch break.
Job Type: Full-time
Wage Range: $15+/hour - based on work experience. Reviews at 60 days and 6 months and twice a year after that. If you meet expectations, a rate increase is usually provided at that time.

My name is Mae Hughes. I am the founder of 2ND CHANCES 4 FELONS. I started this company because of the hardships I faced as a felon trying to turn my life around. I looked for help but could not find any. I asked people for suggestions, I went to several places and even searched the internet but STILL could not find real help. I found it very hard to get people to see past the fact that I am a convicted felon. I went to countless interviews explaining my situation and how much I have changed. Yet and still no one would hire me. I was at my breaking point and BEYOND frustrated so I made a decision to NOT ONLY HELP MYSELF BUT OTHERS AS WELL. Instead of getting angry and giving up, I did the opposite. I turned my NEGATIVE into a POSITIVE and created this company hoping to ease the struggles that other felons may face. I created this company solely for the purpose of helping felons to know that there are second chance opportunities available to them. My main purpose is to reduce the number of felons who give up because they think that there is not any help available for them. I attended the University of Phoenix and received an Associate's degree in Business in 11/2012. I am a mother and my children are my everything, and the reason for me wanting to do and be better. My hope is that this company will be able to provide HELP where HELP IS GREATLY NEEDED !! I pray that the information I am providing can offer assistance with helping felons who are looking for a way to prove to society that there are some of us who deserve a second chance and who are willing to PROVE it through our CURRENT actions.
