Our Mailroom Clerk primary responsibility is to receive, sort, and deliver mail efficiently and accurately.

Essential Responsibilities

 

·         Make timely collection of outgoing mail. (letters, parcels, U.S. Postal, interdepartmental)

·         Serves as liaison for mail service and Insurance departments.

·         Track inventory of mailing supplies.

·         Order mailing supplies and restock the storage area.

·         Distribute mail to appropriate recipients or departments.

·         Track and maintain records of outgoing mail.

·         Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude.

·         Able to appropriately handle confidential and highly sensitive material.                                         

 

Qualification Guidelines

 

 

 

·         Typing speed of 45-60 WPM, required

 

·         Intermediate MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook skills, required

 

·         Familiar with mail room procedures and equipment, preferred

 

·         Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

 

·         High school diploma or equivalent

 

Legal Background Requirements

 

    No felony convictions within the past ten years
