2. In the last 3 years you have not gotten a DUI or DWI

3. In the past 10 years you have not been convicted of a felony

The basic purpose of the position: Perform the essential functions required to safely move vehicles throughout the customers' property in preparation for shipment.

 

JOB LOCATION: PORT OF HOUSTON

INTERVIEWS: THURSDAY 3/9 AND TUESDAY 3/14 @ 9AM

LOCATION OF INTERVIEWS: 111 E LOOP N FWY, HOUSTON, TX 77029

 

Responsibilities

Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedure

Conduct Vehicle inventory

Drive vehicles, at all times, in accordance with company and customer instructions/procedures

Drive vehicles to proper parking bay by assigned route

Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by the company's sole discretion

Must be regularly available to work overtime, weekends, and any time as the company determines, are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs

Perform housekeeping duties as required by site management

 

Skills, Licenses, Certification, and/or Special Training

Must maintain a valid state driver's license if required to operate company equipment

Must be able to safely operate vehicles with either a manual or automatic transmission

 

Work and Environmental Conditions

Must be able to constantly work in an outdoor environment, exposed to all weather elements, including extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust and noisy conditions

Constantly required to use bending, kneeling, twisting and walking motions to enter/exit vehicles and shuttle vans

Constantly required to stand and/or walk during entire work shift

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and being on call

Must be able to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.

 

Physical, Mental & Sensory Requirements

Ability to communicate telephonically with two-way radios

Ability to operate handheld scanner

Ability to read Vehicle Identification Numbers and other shipping documents

Must be able to hear and communicate, work or safety instructions spoken in a normal voice

Must possess normal depth perception and have normal peripheral vision in both eyes

Must have auditory and visual acuity, tracking, inspecting

Must be able to work independently

Must be able to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment

 

Conditions of Employment

Passing of a Criminal Background Check - No Felonies in the past 10 Years

No DUI or DWI in the last 3 years

Passing of a Drug and Alcohol Screening

Driving record must show Valid Driver's License and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years

Pass a physical to ensure you are able to safely perform the essential functions of the job

Be a US citizen or have a Work Authorization Form
