* Have several full time permanent positions available for Class A Drivers in our growing Southwest Regional division. These are permanent, high paying jobs with full benefits.

* Southwest Regional, running Primarily within Houston + Dallas + San Antonio Triangle. Could see runs within a 4 state radius (TX, OK, LA, AR)
* Home Weekly, plus the possibility of additional nights home throughout the week. We will work with your hometime needs. In some areas we can get drivers home every other night. (However, that will affect miles per week) This is NOT a Local position however, there will be nights out. Drivers who stay out all week can run 2500+ miles weekly.
* No Touch freight. Dry Van. 75% Drop n Hook.
* Starting pay is .45 cpm plus a .03 cpm mileage bonus, plus an automatic pay raise every year. Current drivers with over 3 years at the company are making .51 cpm total (.48 base, plus a .03 monthly mileage bonus).
* Average 2200-2500 miles weekly, pending hometime needs. Drivers who take frequent breaks at home will drive a bit less, while drivers who stay out all week can do 2500+ miles.

* Drivers need to have at least 12 months recent experience for this position, although we may be able to hire drivers with as little as 3 months experience for other divisions. Please answer that question in the pre-interview questions. We CANNOT hire drivers with less than 3 months, including recent grads. Experience must be Class A Tractor Trailer Company Driving to qualify. We CANNOT count driving school, permit driving, or military driving.
1yr of verifiable, comparable multi-state Regional or OTR experience in the last 3 years, or 2 in the last 5. (although we can hire with as little as 3 months for other divisions)
No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, no more than 4 in 5 years.
No major tickets within the past 3 years (Following too close, 15mph over, unsafe lane change, cell phone in a CMV, etc)
No more than 2 preventable collisions in the last 3 years, no more than 4 in 5 years.
No preventable, DOT recordable accidents in the last 5 years. (A DOT only requiring a tow may be ok)
Stable Job History (5 or less jobs within the past 3 years)
No DUI in the past 8 years, no more than 1 ever, never in a CMV
No suspensions for more than 30 days with in the past 3 years.
Minor Felonies are reviewable after 5 years from the conviction date.

My name is Mae Hughes. I am the founder of 2ND CHANCES 4 FELONS. I started this company because of the hardships I faced as a felon trying to turn my life around. I looked for help but could not find any. I asked people for suggestions, I went to several places and even searched the internet but STILL could not find real help. I found it very hard to get people to see past the fact that I am a convicted felon. I went to countless interviews explaining my situation and how much I have changed. Yet and still no one would hire me. I was at my breaking point and BEYOND frustrated so I made a decision to NOT ONLY HELP MYSELF BUT OTHERS AS WELL. Instead of getting angry and giving up, I did the opposite. I turned my NEGATIVE into a POSITIVE and created this company hoping to ease the struggles that other felons may face. I created this company solely for the purpose of helping felons to know that there are second chance opportunities available to them. My main purpose is to reduce the number of felons who give up because they think that there is not any help available for them. I attended the University of Phoenix and received an Associate's degree in Business in 11/2012. I am a mother and my children are my everything, and the reason for me wanting to do and be better. My hope is that this company will be able to provide HELP where HELP IS GREATLY NEEDED !! I pray that the information I am providing can offer assistance with helping felons who are looking for a way to prove to society that there are some of us who deserve a second chance and who are willing to PROVE it through our CURRENT actions.
